  • A better grade of fish starting to show

The last couple of weekends the fishing (on the patapsco) has been pretty solid for fish in the 17-24 inch class. I've been focusing on trolling shallow areas (3-15 ft) as my understanding is that these areas are the first to warm. This weekend I made it out Sunday and the water temps had jumped almost 10 degrees from the previous weekend to right around 49 degrees. I figured the first push of bigger fish would follow the warming trend. I wasn't disappointed with what I found.

        Nice report, thanks for sharing!
I got out today at fort Smallwood at 2-5pm and did very well.
With wind and what seemed like a really fast outgoing tide ripping around the point , the bite was really on strong,
