Shad and Rock Weekend

Caught some nice shad in the Potomac on Friday PM and had fun with the stripers on Sat AM in a mid-bay river. Was finding the stripers trolling crankbaits at 6-8' depth in 11-13' of water, often just off off drop-offs.

Nice catching two species in as many days.....which do you figure is the stronger fighter, pound for pound, american shad, hickory shad, or the striped bass?
