It was a blast up there as always. I didn't quite get in the VORTEX like we were last year. But I caught some quality fish. All Blues this year, but they were some bigguns! As always the camaraderie was bar none! And the weather held up for the most part. We got to fish everyday but 1, which was Sunday because of high winds. But we made the best of it by having a libation filled Saturday night! LOL I can't wait to get back there next year! We got a cool group of folks that make it up every year and I learn something new every time we go.
Highlights were:
- I now have my 4th Jbay long sleeved shirt that is now the least faded of the fleet!
- Metroman and I saw one heck of a rescue by our own Rich and another Hobie owner that had to save a dude that flipped his Outback. That was crazy! I know understand that Hobie stand for Helping Out Bro's In Emergencies. LOL The guy is ok.
- Jimbo's eggs
- I caught my 1st fish on a tube
