Unicorn lake monday

Mark and I are going to launch at unicorn lake in millington Md. Monday at 8 am if anyone's would like to join us. Here is the link for the lake:

I fished there last Wed on a calm and overcast/drizzly afternoon. Most of the time I threw a 1/8-oz jighead with a 2" twistertail. Despite that light lure, I ended up getting gunk on the hook on about 2/3 of the casts. If you have a lure or fly that remains at the surface, you may stand a better chance. The bite was slow that day -- I caught 4 small pickerel and 2 larger ones. I caught nothing else.

I used a small spinnerbait fora while and had no bites on that lure at all.

Sounds like a good place to toss fly rod poppers.

I hope the bass are more willing on Monday than you found them last week.
