Help me pick out a new combo!

I'm gonna go pick up a new baitcaster combo today after work. This will be replacing my spinner/chatter bait and plastic swimbait set up that is currently at the bottom of rocky gorge. Any recommendations? Thinking a 6.3:1 geared reel and a 7' m or mh rod just not sure what. Looking to spend $200-300. Thanks!
