A rather slow day today, maybe 12-15 fish, only a couple were worthy of being dinner, but all were released. The fish were in random locations, I couldn't get a pattern, and didn't find the "mother lode."
I launched at 8:30 and fished for 3 hours.
The water was clearer near the mouth with visibility about 2 feet, above the bridges it was only about a foot. Not as much SAV as last week on the Magothy.
No pickerels, although a few flashed and chased the spinner jig. The Double bladed model was the hot ticket.
Three surprises, some pretty good sized Yellow Perch, two were citation sized. The biggest one flopped off just as I took the picture.
