  • Verizon customers

For any folks that have Verizon and lost the Fishing channel and Sportsman and Outdoor channels call verizon 1-800-verizon and ask for customer service and ask when they are bringing them back. The original response they gave when they were cancelled was it was due to "Contract Negotiations". I just recently had to call on another issue and asked about bringing them back and was told that they log all request and complaints. Keep up the pressure and let them know you are still not happy about loosing your channels.

I can't find a custom package that includes it and can't justify an extra $40 a month to get the top plan. I'm pretty disappointed with the fios "custom" options but will hopefully never have to go back to the hassles we had with Comcast rates and customer service.

I have Fios, and Verizon added the world fishing network to my plan. It wasn't much more.

WFN is ok. However, there is just as many fishing shows on youtube and Waypoint TV. Most if not all of your favorite shows are on broadband. If you have a smart TV or ROKU it is all available. Although, keeping the pressure on Verizon is a good idea. Besides, Verizon doesn't have Darcizzle Offshore.

Verizon is really hurting their own interest with all of that free fishing TV around.

Yeah ......... They have have someone from PETA in charge of programming. My loyalty to Verizon is over. I will play Verizon to Comcast from now on and take advantage of their new customer rates every time I can. Screw them

If we do not call in complain, then we are ALL at fault. Don't let them get away with this! They tried this with the tennis channel and we made them back-off. We pay WAY to much for cable for shoddy service. This savings is just for the CEO's bonus to go up! It was $$16-million last year!!!
