lol, the drop method is barbaric yet entertaining. Ive done both the method in this video and the 4' vert kayak drop.

Seemed like common sense to me. I have been doing things like that with canoes and kayaks for years. I'm an old fat guy. The one thing I didn't understand, was why do that at all? There was a perfectly good launch ramp behind her.

after you get the kayak in you can pull her around to the end of the low dock where there is a ladder to hold onto as you get in.

I like pinch's Cave man style of launching.

In my shape i will def pull the boat around to the ladder and gingerly waddle into the kayak.

unless i can run with the kayak between my legs down the dock, Jump and sit in it before it hits the water.

I found launching from Dock G to be pretty easy. There is a nice rounded corner where the main dock connects to the side dock. I put the nose of the yak in this corner and walked it in from behind like the girl in the video. The rounded corner craddled the yak nicely. The dock edges are also lined with a hard rubber so the yak slides easily. The good thing about the dock being so high is that it gives you something hold onto when you are lowering yourself into the yak.

Don't laugh, but I have a nephew, an experienced white water kayaker, who sits in the kayak on a pier, shimmies himself and kayak over the edge and does a launch that way. Hes not an old fat guy.
