Thursday 11am-noon launch: KN & go north

I put in some extra hrs this week that I need to burn up & was thinking of launching out of Kent-Narrows, then going north to fish a new spot for me. Has anyone done this lately &/or wish to join me?

I fished around that area last October, didn't catch anything. Was using shrimp and squid baited bottom rigs, and this was my first experience fishing saltwater from my kayak. Watch the current through the bridge pilings, it's very quick.

A question, what do you do with it when you catch it? Do you drop it into the bottom of the yak (e.g. does it bite, like a blue fish might)??

I caught one fat 25" snakehead in the Mattawoman, off the Potomac. I launched @ Slavin's just before noon & stayed out til 4 on an incoming tide. I only had my small net which was barely big enough to land it, then I knocked it out & put it in my fish bag.
