PA yak registration?/ Any Blues yet?

Two questions. I was planning a float down the Juniata to hit some smallies from my Yak. There is a sign at the boat ramp by the Juniata stating that all vessels must be registered. Does this include all Yaks as well- (no motor)- ?- Also- any decent sized blues showing up under the Bay Bridge yet?- Love trying to get on the stripers, but nice to have some action along the way. Any advice would help!- PS- anyone launch from Peach Bottom...and head upstream. (very shallow and lots of boulders in the river...looks wonderful for yakers this time of the yr with very low river levels.

Yes, you will need to register any boat that uses a PA fish and boat commission access point, state park, and so forth. Seehttp://fishandboat.com/registration.htm.

You can just get a Pa boat commission launch permit/sticker, 10 per year. I put in at the lock 15 ramp below the Holtwood damn
