potomac river 8/3

hitting the potomac river tomorrow for some sh and bass if anyone wants to meet up I'm open for where ever to launch.
wanna get up early and hit the river around 7am.

SML can be very good for quantity but size is elusive. Interesting lure, never seen anything quite like it. Is it a top water or more like a lipless crank?

For bass and snakehead any color I hear but for stripers I'm also interested

Any color will work fine, I'm partial to bone. I picked up one of the new Saltwater grade WPs last week in Herring and slayed both stripers and largemouth on the 130 size. The hooks are definitely better on the saltwater version.

TIP - Take the rear hook off to reduce fowling your line. This doesn't affect action and is much easier on the fish if you intend to release them.

I'm with you on that I release everything and that's the only down fall to the plop when it hooks it hooks
