So if you have a 20v tool battery, will that damage electronics that are meant for 12v? I see you are using a 12v Dewalt bettery... not sure if it will work on a higher voltage battery.. but I bet someone here knows.

I don't think you'd want to run a 20v. lowrance, which is what I have, are rated to be able to run on 10-17v
