This is really just cause I'm curious. I know I might be the youngest in the group, so I'm just wondering what the general age distribution is. I think it is great that we are all different ages and can interact through a common activity.

65 and counting...and like a lot of seniors, got miles and miles of rocky road wear on this chassis- 13 major surgeries and need both knees replaced, but still going strong...I groundhog hunt several trips every summer with a 13 pound Remington 700 Varmint rifle and carry a total of about 40 pounds of gear- normally a hunt averages about five miles of walking up and down the hills and alfalfa fields of Southern PA in near 100 degree heat from sunup until sun down...a good day is 25 to 40 dead groundhogs and the Amish dairy farmers love us for it. This is my 13th summer of groundhog hunting. Now I have a kayak to play with on those off hunting weeks...between the two sports, nothing is more fun for me than varmint hunting.

I want to start hunting this fall/winter, thinking of bow hunting for deer since rifle hunting areas are really limited around me. I fish in warm weather, hunt in cold..my life is complete.

As for my age, I'm turning 29 in August.

                              Frettr00,

I do a bit of bow hunting myself. Hard decision sometimes whether to be in the woods or on the water. Only good thing about not being able to hunt on Sundays is that it makes the decision easier Good Fishin
