The last time I was in Tampa, I saw a kayak ecotour company using this one. I would worry about scratching when dragging over sand.

In Florida especially, I don't want to see everything that is swimming under my kayak. It's better if I don't know.

I feel awkward enough relieving myself in my Slayer with the high seat, I don't think my modesty could stand a clear yak.

I guess you can save some money if you get one of these kayaks because you wouldn't need a FF; all you would need to do is look down :-)

They had these when I went to punta Cana! There was a man made reef infront of our resort! There were tons of life supported that we could see through the yak

That thing would be great to take out to the shallow grass beds cruising around with a dip netting looking for soft and hard crabs, or over shallow rocky area looking for bay scallops, or over some of the clam bars looking for clams sticking out. I want one!

                  Wow that's cool.

Not too sure about the concept of being visible to other boaters.
