You bringing a fly rod?

Well...I have a problem.

I bought a new "fish-mobile" last week and I need crossbars on my roof rack to carry my kayak.

The dealer told me they would be in today or tomorrow. I hope they come in today, of course.

If I get them I will be on the water. I will bring a fly rod and work the edges looking for stripers and perhaps a few white perch.

But even if I cannot bring my boat, I will be there in the morning to take photos and help anyone who needs a hand launching and I'll be at Fifer's for lunch.

I haven't been to the Patapsco recently but I was out yesterday in a boat on the Eastern Shore. The striper activity was amazing -- big fish in the shallows and schoolies breaking in open water. I'm sure participants tomorrow will have many good catches to discuss at lunch.
