  • Can anyone going to the CBKA repair a rod?

I was rigging rods over the weekend and noticed a rod guide insert was missing from the tip of a rod. The guide itself is there, just not the inside piece that makes it smooth for the line to go over. It's a custom jigging rod with a st. Croix blank. It was given to my dad about 8 years ago as a birthday present. He gave it to me this past Christmas as he was losing his battle with cancer. I was really hoping to use it during the CBKA. I rarely do this kind of fishing as I'm usually in rivers so I haven't used the rod yet personally. I don't think it would be that difficult of a repair, but I don't have a clue when it comes to rod repair.

That or stop by our sponsor Shore Tackle on the way in (3100 Main St, Grasonville, MD 21638) and Joe or Billy can fix it for you and get you back on the water!
        Used to fish more.
