I'm Back...

Well, that was unexpected. If anyone told me that in 2011 I would be out in a kayak only one time, I would have told you that you were wrong. Life works out that way sometimes. One new house, one condo to sell, leaving one job, starting another, painting every room in the new house, cutting over an acre and a half with a push mower....

But im back. Still busy, still working on the house but its about time to get the plastic in the water. I look fwd. to seeing you all out there.

Your one trip has me beat Of course I have no one to blame but myself for volunteering for this deployment to Afghan. Now that you have some stuff done its time to make up for lost time! I will start making up for lost time on October 3rd, just in time for some trolling and vertical jigging Good Fishin

Good to hear from you, and congrats on the new house. I feel your pain about the lawn. I have a little over an acre, and I figured out that I walk ~4.5 miles when I cut it (based on a 22" swath cut on each pass).

Thanks for the warm welcomes... Still have lots to do at the house (all cosmetic changes) but cutting the grass by hand isnt one of them. It took me about 3 1/2 hours the first time. I dont know how much walking i did, but it felt like a good 6 or 7 miles. Needless to say, I purchased a lawn tractor the next week...

Is the meet and greet the second saturday? If so, I am in. And I will def. hit the tournament.

Im thinking of taking a trip down to Taylors Island this Sunday morning....

yeah rider is the way to go. heading to blackwalnut point at the mouth of the choptank sat. morning. lady at TI campground charges 5 to launch at their ramp, not bad.
