    Anybody using it

Got your message, but I've been on the horn all day. I haven't tried it since J-bay, but I have been wondering about it. No real reason to use it lately since the LTJ has been great. I may troll one this weekend since I'm heading to different waters. We'll see. I thought about trolling one up the Mattowoman just to see what would happen!

As for making them, I haywire twist the hook on and then cut the wire a few inches longer than the tube. Pull the wire out of the top and push the tube down, slide on swivel, twist, and let the tube go back up. You want the wire a little shorter than the tube so that it causes the tube to always have some sort of twist. I used SS wire, not sure what size, and it held up fine at j-bay. If it can handle a 34" bluefish, then it can handle a big rock!
    Used to fish more.

Thanks Mike ........... thinking about making a few ........ found a source for 1/2" tube the right color red (same as the stuff I used 35 yrs ago) and I have a ton of the SS wire that should be more than heavy enough ........

THought I'd try using it as I pedaled around the BB (whenever I get there) and then jigging .......

Here's a bunch I picked up from Fishing Flea Markets this past Winter.

Never used them yet. Have not been having luck trolling this past Spring with deep dive crankbaits, bucktails and swimming shads, so I never tried the tubes.

Nowadays I use bkds and grub worms on jig heads. Not sure if tube worms are any better. Maybe I'll try the tubes in November when the trophies are around

I used the T&W at J-Bay and 90% of the fish i caught were on it! Haven't tried it in the Ches. but may be worth a drag to see if there are any takers. I would imagine you could take some Blues Bros. on this if they are in the area.

Put it in the arsenal, use it often... Like MM mentions about long ago... it'll work. Tubes always have. No fish can resist a worm/eel/whatever.

I made a batch of them last year but never got a chance to use them. I made 2 pink, 2 wine and 2 purple in 12" and 15". I'm starring at them now and wondering why i have not tried them.

He makes it seem so easy. I'm fired up now to use my T&W.

???? He used a gulp sandworm if that's what you mean?

I used a T-Man tube the whole time at J-Bay last year, the bubble gum pink one. I changed the hook and replaced the wire with ss wire that would hold the corkscrew shape better. Worked great!
