I got a later start today, it seemed like everyone was heading in when I launched. I did pretty well for a two hour trip. Smallest fish was 17.5" and the biggest was 22.75." Today was probably my last after-work trip of the season, so I was grateful to end on a high note.

We are all convinced the end of low tide and slack tide consumed the three or four hours that we were there. When we were coming in, it was picking up with the incoming tide. All about timing! But a beautiful warm day!

Is that how you cook them, with the biscuit mix on top or just seasoned with the lemon and butter and the biscuits on the side?

Dinner was delicious, packed the other half for this winter.
