The last guy that tried made it 30 miles before capsizing and almost succumbing to hypothermia. People are crazy!

I just wonder if he is doing it because of the guy that did it in a kayak a few years back. More power to all of these people that make these trips. It truly is amazing to read about.

I know he's probably way more conditioned and trained than I am but the longest consecutive run I've made, trolling at approximately 3 mph, on my board was 16 miles I was about as fatigued as when I ran a full marathon. I can't imagine paddling 26 miles every night for 4 months straight let alone doing it in crazy and unforseen seas!
