Great Deal on Awesome Kayak Trailer

Harbor freight has a coupon out for a 4x8' trailer right now bringing it down to about $270 after taxes. This is a brand new trailer, with title, which only needs simple lights and a deck installed on the trailer.

I know more and more guys are starting to get longer, bulkier, heavier kayaks that are a pain to get on top the roof racks justifying the needs for a trailer. I just put mine together that I picked up yesterday and it is nothing short of awesome.

Thought I'd share the coupon in case anyone else could use it!

Good little trailers, I had one years ago for hauling my 4 wheeler. The only problem I have heard of with them is the wheel bearings don't hold up on very long highway trips, and I mean like 600 + miles. Local and shorter trips should be fine.

I think that's people not packing the hubs. Out of the box they said the hubs are to be cleaned and greases.

I'm actually making mine into a micro camper.

Just finish a trailer built.Took 3 trailers but this is what I come up with.

Rock- No pics yet. Just finished wiring the lighting on the trailer, I'm going to start framing it tomorrow, and will post some pics once it starts coming together.

They are nice trailers, I've had mine for over 10 years & had to replace axles after bearing burned up when a relative used it. All fixed & converted to yak hauler.

How often do you grease the hubs on yours?

now it's once a year, was pretty painful replacing the axels

Try adding buddy bearing .Lot easier then repacking the bearing.
