Hi everybody!
I have got a Garmin 301c and i have bought it secondhand ( came with the kayak) . I only used it once, it worked fine. The second time i wanted to use it it didnt spark up so i guessed it was an empty battery.
After replacing the fuse and charging the battery, i plugged it in and nothing happened.
I now think it might be the powerplug, the female one which is on the end of the cable connected to the battery, it got a bit of green corrosion on one of the tiny holes.. Any ideas on solving this problem? Is there anyway i can test the actual fishfinder without hooking it up to the battery to see if there is a problem there?
