Going out 8/5 BB, evening

I'm going to do an evening trip on the bay bridge, east side. My striper filet supply is running low so I want to restock. I'm thinking set up by 5pm @ G dock, get back in around sunset. Anyone up for it? The weekend looks like T-Storms so this might be the only good fishing day.

They are launching from G Dock at the Bay Bridge Marina, Right next to Hemingways on the east side of the bridge. 1st exit after bridge.

friday afternoon in the summer, no traffic at the BB

Shady showed up, pulled in 2 stripers 18 and 23". I skunked and battled the ridiculous currents/winds most of the evening. It was rougher than I had anticipated, couldn't hold anchor at all. I was using 1oz BKDs, seems like I needed 1.5oz.
