I love fishing videos and fishing shows, I tell my wife that it is fishing porn. In fact the only thing that makes fishing videos better is when they have a hot blonde in a bikini fighting a tarpon. Like Larisa unleased.

Then again this must be a generational thing as I grew up with the playboy channel, HBO and currently do not require any performance enhancing substances like Viagra.

It really varies.

I prefer short to the point vids that document a process or a technique.
A 20 min vid on creating a rod leash is 18 minutes too long.

I do like john skinner vids but even some of his tend to be longer then needed.

I know you know know a great deal of techniques, maybe some short maintenance tips, kayak rigging, tackle rigging. It kind of depends on your purpose. If you want additional sponsorships you will want a lot of vids to attract viewers & likely your own site. Many/most (?) vids I've seen have been by poeple promoting or selling something. I like https://www.facebook.com/groups/kayakdiy/ most of the tips are by other yakkers, but some are by Justin and are at https://www.youtube.com/user/KayakDIY

Instructional videos for me. I would love to see kayak fishing vids that focus on a single topic and covered them in detail but concise. Example would be a light tackle jigging video that briefly covered the tackle to be used, then how to find structure, how to position the boat, jigging technique, how to work the structure, etc. 10 mins or so would be a good length.

I'm sure some folks do, but I don't like watching videos that just show someone catching fish. That doesn't help me or give me knew things to try when I'm on the water.
