Sorry for such short notice but is anyone interested in fishing for blue catfish tomorrow out of Slavins boat launch? I'd like to launch around 9am and head up creek from the launch.

Landed 2 fish out of 7 hits. One was and 19" and the other was a 21". Here's a shot of the 21"

Maryland DNR wants us to take invasive species like the Blue catfish out of the system...I find it hard to kill anything I am not prepared to personally eat- groundhogs are the exception- love to snipe away at them with my .22-250...but I digress...I recently released my extra large Blue catfish back into the waters at Mattawoman Creek...if there were something useful they could be used for I would gladly donate all the big catfish to...and make DNR happy...
