Lowrance has new up dates as of the 17th of this months for those with HDS Gen3, Elite5ti and 7ti owners. Part of the update is for uploading sonar charts to Navionics.

My mounting set up wouldn't help you as my Feel Free yak has a removable electronics pod and it's mounted to a Uni-bar they make for their yaks.
