  • Evening/night croaker trip. Romancoke, 8/13. Feeler

My wife is going to some party. I'm gonna pawn off the baby on to my mother. Me and the boys have been talking about an evening/ night trip. Been a while since we've done so.

Figured we'd launch around 7pm to catch the sunset action, and fish into the night. Easy going bottom fishing drifting.

    Who's in?

A bunch of the guys will be heading home from OC that afternoon, might catch a few of them on the way back and they might want to head out with you.

Where's the address/exact launch area? I haven't been there before, would like to get on some bottom fishing for a bit.

Im looking to fish somewhere Friday afternoon/night. I was thinking probably either bay bridge or jonas green, but Im open to other spots in the vicinity. I've never been much on the bottom fishing game, but then again, I have not really tried it much. Let me know if you guys are interested in heading out friday afternoon/night. As of now, the long range forecast is looking good for Friday afternoon/night.

Thanks, that's easy enough to get to. Can anyone point out the good areas to fish on this map?

Paddle straight out from the launch. You'll see a white marker buoy about 1/2 mile out :-)

So will there be an evening/night fish for croaker? Or are croakers on the wane?

At this point, I wouldn't waste my effort specifically targeting them at this location
