Perch Fishing Intro

I made a video that kind covers the basis of perch fishing, what i use to help me catch multiple trips and outing. What baits, and where you can get them

Good deal Zach- pictures work better than words...those jig spinners are what I use for a number of fishing situations...tiny crankbaits and in-line spinners work well for big perch, too

I took note of your color suggestions for stained water.

This is a great time of year to target perch. Some have hit my lures and flies as they were merely dangling in the water. Taking note of that, I have slowed down my retrieves, even pausing them at times. Often perch have attacked my lure or fly when it stops moving or immediately when I resume the retrieve.

Yeh I had to go super slow yesterday for bites .. once I did tho, was hooking up nearly every single cast

gr8t video. I personally use 1/4 oz joe flies super striker spinners and mepps say is in the 1/8 oz in white , chartreuse, or black , all with gold blades.
I've also have caught legal size stripers with this setup also.

Yes, one of the joys of perch fishing is picking up the occasional striper. They bite the same lures and often swim together.

ive noticed with these smaller perch lures.. you can pick up anything from perch, rock, pickerel, bass, cat fish, bluefish, flounder.. anything .. its awesome. always keeps you on your toes thats for sure

and so many different style baits work.
