In 15 years of fishing the Severn creeks, I have caught only one flounder. It was well upriver in Maynadier Creek.

Also, I was present when On the fly (Harry) caught one in the Severn on his fly rod. He was near Manresa when he hooked it. I saw it but I don't have a photo.

ive heard of a bunch of flounder being caught in the severn and in the mouth of the severn. Ive caught them in the mouth of the magothy before too.. nothing of any size.. maybe 13 inches or so. but still fun
Recently, someone on a kayak caught a keeper flounder just south of the South River. Also, someone caught a surprise flounder at the Bay Bridge during a past CBKA Tournament.

I have caught two on the same morning a couple years ago. They were caught over the oyster beds near old railroad bridge in about 14' of water. Oddly on my fly rod with sinking line. They were small, undersized.
