  • New addiction

I've just recently started to try my hand at making my own rubber skirted bass jigs from pretty much scratch. A week into it and I find I am constantly wanting to make more.

Very nice. Once you get into making your own you'll find that indeed it is addictive and you can make more than you'll need. However, friends will appreciate your talent.

Lol fellas I have been working my rear off at work so I have only had time to make a few with no field test yet. Hoping next week to get a few of them wet. Just got access to a private pond that holds some lunkers and with the fall feed up coming on hope to rip some lips

            Another lure making addict!
Wait until you catch a fish on it, then you'll really get addicted.

            BTW, nice looking lure!

I've had a few co workers ask about selling them I wouldn't even know where to start and would need way more supplies to be able to keep a stock to make and keep rolling

I cannot vouch for the quality of the items in the links because I've never purchased jig skirts. But I use the above suppliers for other materials to make my own lures and I've been pleased with what they have sent to me.

Thanks mark. I took my jigs out fishin this eve. Caught one well at least hooked one had on long enough to see it turn as I set hook and fight in some cover I'll count it though since it was trial run
