Kayak winter storage

I currently have my trident 13 kayak in the garage but it’s not going to be it’s long term storage location. The only other storage option I have is under a covered deck. It’d be protected from the elements but exposed to the cold. I got a kayak hoist for Christmas that I was considering for under the deck. Would this system and location be sufficient for Maryland winters?

It will be just fine, I store all 3 of my kayaks in the same manner. They have been stored there for coming up on 2 years now. Next year I plan to treat them with some of the UV protectant spray. These kayaks are tuff. Most major damage will come from direct sun exposer. The cold doesn’t bother the yaks.
