Another thing to add about surffishing, and probably the best reason to learn it, the worst weather days for the yak or boat are the best days for surffishing, the crappier the better. When you can’t go yakking, go surffishing. 8 foot seas, that is throwing stinging horizontal rain into your eyes is beautiful surffishing weather.
But like I said, be warned, it’s addictive but worth it.
