  • Storm Video from St. Mary's

Here is a couple of videos taken around 3PM from a beach area about 1 mile north of Elms Beach....I plan to get a couple more as the storm heats up! That's my daughter Xela in the video. Also, on a MKF note the fallen tree in the video landed where my canoe was chained up until I moved it ahead of the storm...glad I did

Too dark for more. My neighbor's house (water front) caught fire...thinking I'll stay inside

Looks like the water is pushing up pretty good in that last video. How far is your house from the shore? They are still talking about 8ft to 9ft storm surges in the tide water area. I hope all stays well for you and keep safe.

Nice vids, Kevin. It looks like the ocean there. There were 8ft waves at the PLO buoy, and ~14ft waves at the Gooses Reef buoy. How's your neighbor's house?

OK.... Neighbors house saved by our excellent firefighters....minor damage. SWe are still without power but very safe otherwise. Beach combing was GREAT after the storm. Hope everyone else is good. Sorry I could not get full force video!

Glad you made it thru without major damages. Thanks for the videos.

We were lucky in Arlington the power stayed on the hole time and none of our large trees in the area fell. I sat on the porch and watched as the strongest part of the storm came thru. I could see the flashes of transformers going off all around us.

nice video, the worst part came through my area around 2am high winds in the dark, made everyone sleep on the first floor incase a tree fell on the up stairs bedrooms
