I stopped over Pinch's house Friday and he gave me a crash course on the baitcaster so I figured I try one again. Went to BPS and picked up a Shimano Caenan reel and chose a Carrot Stick after reading your post. Threw it in the backyard about 20 times and only had 3 minor birdsnest.

Yes he did. And that's why I screwed up my last one and took it back. Plus I didn't know about using your thumb as a break. Live and learn.
