Upper Severn

I've read a few threads on this area and I would like to know where people access the water and what they fish for in the area. I'm always looking for new areas to explore and fish, but it seems like a long paddle from Jonas Green or Tucker Street. Thought I would reach out and see if there is a way to close the distance. Thanks for any help

You can launch from Smith's Marina in Crownsville which puts you in Little Round Bay. It'll put you into a good area where you can access a lot of the mid/upper Severn. They have a small fee but are really nice about letting you pay after you return if you launch before they open.

I seem to recall fee increased recently, I want to say from $5 to $10 or $10 to $20, but check with the Marina to be absolutely sure.

Thanks for the info. I'm always looking for new water and species you don't see as much in the Mid and Lower Severn. I saw the post recently about carp in the upper severn. Anything else out of the ordinary come to mind?
