Only thing i know that that preys on cow nosed rays is a bull shark

Never seen so many LARGE cnr as i did this weekend. Bow tourney id politically incorrect so I guess bull shark hatchery is only option. Maybe we can breed em to only eat CNR, oyster toadfish, treehuggers/anti-sportsmen and poachers. How hard could it be?

I don't think anybody who knows anything about the shell fish populations sinks the cow nose Ray predation is having a negligible effect on crabs and shellfish. So irritating Sportsman is a big problem

I’m pretty sure every single hotel and swimmer would prefer to have more cow nose rays than resident Bull Sharks

Think of CNRs much like you think of carp. A hard fighting fish that you wouldn't want to take home for dinner.
Both have a. reputation as being a "trash" fish.
I don't think that there is such a thing ( well, maybe oyster toads) Lol

You could always start harvesting them yourself. I hear the meat is like pork chops.

I've found where at least one shark took a bite out your problem for you.

Hammerhead sharks eat tons of rays and skates...great bait for a Hammerhead is half a Ray on welded eye 14/0 mustang forged hook with #9 galvanized machine chain bite leader and 1/16 stainless aircraft control cable rub leader

Bull sharks also have a rep for eating people too! They also do very well in brackish water. When I was a kid, one was caught off Philadelphia in the Delaware River. I'll live with periodic rides from rays thank you.
