Wanting to get my first striper Saturday

Hello everybody
Saturday july 28th i want to head out to the bay to try to get my first keeper striper. And was wondering if any body would like to join me. I was either going to try the bay bridge or north like around hartmiller island. Never caught a striper before so hopefully I can break the spell

Going down the beach this weekend but I'm thinking of trying Hart Miller this week if I do I'll give you a report.

I might be up for it Saturday morning. Going to have to see if I get my honey do stuff done through the week and keep an eye on the weather.

Are there crazy currents or something weird around Hart-Miller island? Last couple times out Ive heard one mayday and 5 or 6 pan-pan signals for capsized vessels, sinking vessels, people in the water, and people on the island in need of rescue.

Or is it simply the same as any roadway in the DC-Baltimore area? Way too many people who have no business operating a vessel/vehicle of any kind.

Its been a few years since iv been there (on parents boat) bit I remember lots of people would anchor up and party. I have seen a few people beach there boats out of stupidity and drunkenness. As far as currents its been way to long for me to remember
