      How far up they bay can one catch croaker? Its been at least 15 years since I caught one and would love to again bit don't want to travel 4 hours to do it

        They are catching some croakers at Aqualand off the shore at the Harry Nice Bridge in the Potomac...lots of bluecats, white perch and some Stripers...lots of debris floating in the water right now...much higher success rate at PLO...

              Yes..Point Lookout, Smith Creek, St Mary’s River, Cornfield Harbor area has higher concentrations of spot and croakers right now...seems like everything that is migratory is way behind what we expect...

                        iI caught a couple in cherryfield earlier this summer and there were clouds of them on the fishfinder....no recent report though

                              Price of crabs is off the charts...$200 a bushel for number 1 Jimmies...insane...$3 apiece...

                                Primary factor in me getting back to crabbing this year. The cheapest I've seen was $165/bu over on the eastern shore from a place too far.

                                I saw the most outrageous crab prices at a restaurant in Baltimore...on a weekday. Prices were STARTING at $120/doz.
