Has anyone been visiting ponds in MD or DE in recent weeks?

If so, are they clear of algae and slime and fishable?

Two weeks ago Wye Mill pond was completely clear of vegetation, at least in the front half. I never made it to the rear.

I was thinking that the downpours we've been having this summer may have broken up some of the algae that typically forms at this time of year.
