Hello all,
Here's a link (posted with permission) to the Chesapeake Paddlers Association August 2018 newsletter:
http://cpakayaker.com/wp-content/upl...ANewsFINAL.pdf
On page 3 Bill Smith, the CPA Coordinator, talks about issues concerning Spriggs Farm Park and Homeport Farm Park, especially the so-called "save Spriggs Farm" neighborhood campaign, and urges everyone to use these parks.
In the cover article Ralph Heimlich discusses Wildwater State Park on the Potomac, Virginia's newest state park (September 2018), and paddle-friendly changes at Chapel Point State Park across the Potomac in Maryland. The Friends of Wildwater State Park are looking for volunteers. Ralph is the hero who created the Chesapeake Water Access and Paddle-in Campsite Atlas: http://www.cpakayaker.com/additions-...ampsite-atlas/
See you on the water.
Lisa
