Great price on your Compass! Below $1600 and brand new! Here is another reason to have a peddle and a paddle kayak, if you do it for exercise and can afford and store both. Both kayaks works different sets of muscles when you use them. The paddle kayak gives you an upper body and core workout. The peddle yaks give you a lower body or more a leg hip workout....

So that’s why I’ve got grotesquely overdeveloped legs and Twiggy arms.

I'm relatively new to Yak fishing so take this for what it's worth. I started with a cheap paddle yak then recently picked up a 2018 Outback. The paddle I use in areas where it's tight to carry it in or in areas with a lot of vegetation. The Hobie I use for larger bodies of water, I actually bought to replace my bass boat. I will say since starting yak fishing I fish significantly more often but the Hobie has bumped that up even more. So be prepared if you pick up a peddle yak your wife may see less of you.
