That indeed is a bucket list trip. I don't know what would be more ominous -- the helicopter ride through the mountains to get there, or paddling in 30 degree water near glaciers that may calve.

I do know a gentleman in the Chesapeake Paddlers Association who has paddled portions of the Northwest Passage. That was a trip of a lifetime for him.

This trip brings two of my passions together in one: (helicopter) flying and kayaking.
I also figure there is a salmon fly fishing opportunity somewhere in that mix ;-)
