Lots of trout were stocked into Maryland watersthis past week by MD-DNR. Many Ponds and streams were stocked, some of them are closed to fishing until opening day. Check out the "Trout Stocking" section in the MD-DNR website.

I hit Allen Pond on my way home from work Thursday. Managed to catch one, but the action was slow. I only saw one other angler catch anything, and there were probably 10 of us spread around the pond.Comment

That's where I was as well, caught mine on a panther Martin... I overheard a guy that was fishing from the rocks with powerbait talking about needing one more to limit, but believe he left with 4 as I didn't see him catch any and he left before me. I may return soon with my fly rod, haven't caught a fish on the fly yet (lack of effort in getting out there mostly) and saw a decent amount of rises while I was there around 4-5 pmOriginally posted by BarefootPetr View Post-JustinComment
