SMRFO Fishing Fair 3/23-24

The Southern Maryland Recreational Fishing Organization is holding its annual Fishing Fair at the St Mary’s Fairgrounds on March 23 and 24 from 8-3 each day. Expecting over 100 vendor tables, boating safety and life saving training, speakers on Saturday, a used boat yard, and door prizes.

This is the primary fund raiser for SMRFO which sponsors various fishing opportunities for youth and veterans as well as lobbying for the recreational fisherman.

This weekend. They will be offering free boat inspections that includes getting into the event for free because they are serious about boater safety. Hope to run into some of you. I’ll be working the entrance on Sunday morning.
