The tournament director is involved with WMO and Big Fish Classic so think he’s gonna be putting together a really awesome kayak event. Should be a good time.

This tournament sounds really cool. Have they finalized cobia regulations yet? MD's website is usually easy to navigate for most species, but they sometimes provide useless links for cobia and a few other species. They don't really lead to current regulations, just to other unrelated pages on the website.

I don't think DNR has published 2019 Cobia regs, I'm keeping an eye out for it though. But will likely be same as last year (1) fish 40"

This tournament will probably flounder focused that time of of year. Anyone lucking into a cobia will be a top contender for sure.
