Being of the younger generation on this forum, that ramp/launch rails looks AWESOME!

Having more wisdom now that when I was young and dumb, I'm more worried about my expensive yak damage, rather than bodily damage to me!!!

My have time changed (and the Pax)
They must have cleaned up the half dozen sewage treatment plants between the BW parkway and rt 4
Even as recent as 10 years ago the Pax river is not something you would "play" in.

I paddled from Hills bridge (rt 4) UP a few years ago,, I could smell the treated effluent,,,

Problem with this stretch is, it is skinny water. You would have a hard time fitting just 2 kayak fisherman through it.
And camping may be a little "sketchy", I would be armed.

The first is Governor's Bridge, mentioned earlier (marker 58). The next two are of Queen Anne's launch (marker 52), much nicer and improved facilities. Both of these sites are maintained by PG county. The phone number to access them is at Jugg Bay, which also has a launch and some facilities, but I did not stop there on my trip.

I hike around Davidsonville Park a every few months and that launch is about worthless. Between the staircase/rail system and the steep muddy bank at the bottom I don't see how it gets any use.
