Big ugly

Caught my personal best black drum while I was in Florida doing some Navionics sonar charting. Port St. Joe/Mexico Beach was devastated by Hurricane Michael last year and it changed what the charts look like.

Nice catch. I have hooked several of those in Tampa Bay but never got one up to the kayak.
