Broad Creek- Neavitt Landing

Reoports are that specks are being caught in Broad Creek. Has anyone fished down there of late or do you have any advice that you might like to pass on to me? I have a day off from school and I am going to head down there on Thursday as long as I can get my fish finder rigged by then.
