September is closing out, and Rocktober is right around the corner!

I launched Goodhands Creek yesterday, 9/25, at 7am. Weather was beautiful and calm winds. I had the entire body of water to myself and only encountered a single crabber working the area near Hog Island. The parking lot was empty. Water temp was 75 degrees and plenty of bait in the area. Spent the day throwing different color paddletails and trolling rattletraps and soft plastics but to no avail. Caught a couple small stripers and a coupe perch but nothing to brag about. Back at the ramp by 2pm. So, the fishing was a bit of a disappointment but it was a great day to be on the water. Will try again next week if the winds are favorable.
