Night Fishing, Fri, 30 Sep

Would like to do some Friday night fishing, depending on wx forecast. Trying to decide.

- Lewes RI. Flounder or specks
- PLO. Flounder or specks
- HRBT 1st island. Flounder, croaker or specks

Anyone planning to go to any of these places?

Not able to fish this week or weekend Tuf- got to work out of town- it is a shame too- the Ugly Duckling is all rigged out just the way I want it- The HRBT should be loaded with school stripers and blue fish along the light line- underneath should be some decent grey trout if you can get your lure through the blues- PLO should be cooking, too- especially out near the point where we got hammered by the waves last trip- that should be an area holding some decent size stripers- Flounder might be best on the eastern shore around the mouths of inlets- Fisherman's Island flats should hold some puppy drum and speckled trout- but fishing should be pretty good just about any where this time of year-

I plan on heading down Friday after work so I should at HRBT around 1100... Might stop be Bass Pro on the way down to have a reel spooled and buy a rod though.

I am also planning on heading to the HRBT on Friday after work. I think I am going to stay down there and fish lynnhaven or back river on Saturday.

Yes! We got a company. Planning to head down to HRBT Friday morning. Maybe fish somewhere in the afternoon. Then I'll be at the HRBT Willoughby Spit launch by 9 pm.

Hope to fish Saturday and maybe night too.

We're gonna be all over that region this weekend. We will drive down from kipto to fish with the gang Friday night @ HRBT.

Matter of fact, I'm gonna just motor on down from Kiptopeke!

See you guys down there late. I don't think I'll be leaving Nova until about 5 or 6 unfortunately. My GF wants to come and fish this weekend so it may take awhile. Joe (ComeOnFish) will be down there around dinner time. Just look for the guy with the camera on his head catching fish.

MyT, I threw that rod in my car for you if you want to try it out for the weekend. It has 15lb powerpro and a baitcaster with a flipping switch.
